I have gained extensive experience and skills as a capability development manager and practitioner over two decades in learning design and delivery. My expertise is on personal and professional development and behaviour change and culture change for organisations. I am particularly looking to work with individuals and organisations who want to develop new skills to meet the capabilities needed in our new and emerging complex environments.
I am accredited with, and/or run workshops on, models such as Emotional & Social Competence Inventory for leaders (ESCI) , Conversation Intelligence, Meditation, Values, Myer’s Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and working in complex environments.
As a trained coach I focus on supporting personal growth and professional success through expanding consciousness.

The current culture
Your organisational culture drives the operations norms and determines what initiatives are being energized or undermined. Your values statement is irrelevant, it is the real operational environment that matters and therefore we need to aim for alignment between organisational, operational and personal values
Our world is run through interconnected, interdependent systems. We know that assuming a linear sequence of events does not work because the world operates in a non-linear fashion which results in constant change. We need to understand those systems and work with them at a higher level than in the past – we must learn to have adaptive systems and mindsets that allows us to work in flow with those systems

Despite huge amounts of money going into training and developing staff we are still challenged to build good leadership, struggling with increasing conflict and poor workplace behaviour, working with a disengaged workforce, and more. I want to find new ways of looking at working with these issues such as my workshops on:
Building new capabilities
New environments require new skills. Instead of simplifying our environment to make it easy to apply the old thinking we each need to learn to think and operate in a complex way that allows us to go work with the flow instead of continually resisting the flow. The new capabilities might include thinking and working within complexity, new ways to work with and through people - co-creation, collaboration and partnering, raising individuals and organisations to achieve their potential, and so on.
